what to do in

Carpinteria

Browse locally owned boutiques and antique shops on Linden Avenue.

Enjoy a delicious meal at one of Carpinteria’s many restaurants. There are tasting rooms for wine, mead, and several breweries in town.

Only a short walk from Watermark are miles of sandy beaches where you can spend the day sunning, surfing or exploring tide pools. Plan your evening to take in a beautiful sunset at the beach, it’s well worth the stroll down Linden to catch!

There are several walking and hiking trails throughout the area where you can make adventure by the ocean, up into the mountains, and along the orchards.

Carpinteria is home to the yearly Rods in Roses car show in late June and Avocado Festival in early October with good food, local crafts, fresh produce and lots of music. Both of these events are held on Linden Avenue, a very short walk from Watermark.

Farmers market is every Thursday late afternoon.
